Manually Import Subscribers
If you are porting subscribers over from another subscription platform, or are trying to add an users from existing membership platform you are using, using our Import Subscribers function will simplify this for you

Formatting your Subscriber List
To avoid errors during importation, it's important that your subscriber list is formatted correctly.
- Save your subscriber as a TTF-8 encoded CSV (comma-separated value) file. NOTE: We've already created a handy guide to on how to Save CSV files using UTF-8 Format.
- The column headers of your subscriber list must include the following (use exact formatting):
- "First Name"
- "Last Name"
- "Email"
- "Created At": must be in ISO 8601 format (YYYY-MM-DD)
- "State" (optional): must be "active" or "unconfirmed" and defaults to "active"
Importing your CSV file into a Single Channel Account
- In the Dashboard, click on Subscriptions in the left-hand menu.
- Click the purple Import Subscribers button on the top right.
- Click on Choose a file and select the CSV file with your subscriber list. Ensure that you've formatted your subscriber list correctly. (Note: Make sure to select the Free plan when importing since these users still do not have a payment method on file and can only be imported via Free plan)
- If you want a welcome email with your RSS feed link sent to each of your subscribers, check the Send welcome emails box.
- If checked, fill out the two fields on the form that will appear.
- Click Submit.
- The people on the CSV file are now your Supercast members!
Importing your CSV file into a Network Account
- In the Network Dashboard, click on Subscriptions in the left-hand menu.
- Click the purple Import Subscribers button on the top right.
- Select the Bundle you wish to import these subscribers to.
- Click on Choose a file and select the CSV file with your subscriber list. Ensure that you've formatted your subscriber list correctly.
- If you want a welcome email with your RSS feed link sent to each of your subscribers, check the Send welcome emails box.
- If checked, fill out the Welcome Email subject and body fields.
- Click Submit.
- The people on the CSV file are now your Supercast members!
